Privacy & data handling
Plain-language summary of what data this site uses and how we handle anything you send us.
The environmental data is public domain
Water table, permafrost, temperature, and related figures shown across Circumpolar.ai come from public agencies, chiefly the U.S. Geological Survey National Water Information System. That data is in the public domain. We display and re-format it; we do not own it, and you are free to verify it at the source.
We don't use tracking cookies
We set no advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Authenticated areas use a single session cookie strictly to keep you signed in. Some pages embed third-party maps and weather (map tiles, and the Windy.com forecast on the Anchorage water table page); those providers load in their own frames and may set their own cookies under their privacy policies, which we do not control.
Email you send us
If you request early access or contact us, we collect the email address and any details you choose to provide, and use them only to reply and to tell you about the product. We do not sell or rent your information. Email is handled through our standard contact form on the landing page.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete any personal information we hold about you at any time. Email erik@beaded.cloud with the address you used and we will remove it. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have a statutory right to access and deletion; we honor those requests for everyone, regardless of where you live, and respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page. Questions go to erik@beaded.cloud.
